Make the feeling of a calm, organized home accessible to everyone — through beautifully designed printables that cost less than a single organizing session and last a lifetime.
Our story
Slate & Sill Co. started with a simple frustration. The founder, Brian, spent years building homes and managing job sites — environments where systems matter. Labels, checklists, zone maps. Everything has a place, and that place is written down. Real, physical, unforgettably clear.
When he moved into a new home with his family, he tried to apply the same logic. He bought binders. He printed labels. He sketched pantry zones on scrap paper at 10pm. And it worked — his family felt it immediately. The house ran better.
But the resources were scattered. The good systems lived in professional organizing blogs or expensive custom print shops. Nothing was clean, affordable, and instantly downloadable. In 2020, with more time at home than planned, he decided to solve that problem for himself — and discovered he'd accidentally built something other people wanted too.
Slate & Sill Co. launched as a way to put professional-grade organization systems into the hands of anyone with a printer and a drawer to fill.

I started Slate & Sill Co. because I needed this for myself, and I couldn't find it done right. Everything felt either too cute, too corporate, or too expensive. So I made what I actually wanted to use. That's still the standard everything gets held to: would I print this and put it in my own home?
If that answer is yes, it ships. If not, it gets rebuilt.
