How the printable system works
What exactly do I get when I buy a Slate & Sill printable?
You get a downloadable PDF file containing a small set of coordinated pages — trackers, lists, checklists, or labeled templates designed to work together as a system. Every product is a single PDF you open, print on your home printer, and start using the same day. No app, no subscription locking the file, no waiting on shipping.
How does the print, file, and reprint loop actually work?
You print the pages you need this week, slip them into a binder or notebook, and use them in real life. When a page is finished or outdated, you pull the file back up from your email link, print a fresh copy, and replace the old one. The PDF stays the same — your copy stays new.
Why printables instead of a digital app for home organizing?
Apps compete with your phone for attention and lock your data behind a subscription. Printed pages sit on your desk where you can see them, do not crash, do not lose your data when a company shuts down, and let you write by hand — which forces decisions the way tapping a checkbox in an app never does.
Delivery & access
Do you ship physical products?
No — every Slate & Sill product is a digital downloadable PDF. There is nothing to ship, no waiting on a carrier, and no international shipping fee. After checkout you receive the file by email within seconds and can print it immediately.
Can I download on multiple devices?
Yes. The download link is yours permanently and works on any device — laptop, phone, tablet, or family computer. Save the confirmation email and you can pull the file up on a new device any time you need a fresh print.
Choosing the right product
What is the difference between a single tier and a bundle?
A single tier is one focused system — like the Everyday Home System ($39) or the Zone-by-Zone System ($47). A bundle combines multiple tiers at a lower price than buying them separately — the Calm Home Bundle is $59, and the Full Home System ($129) includes everything we make plus every future release. Start with a single tier if you know the pain point; choose a bundle if you want the whole library.
Which Slate & Sill product should I start with?
Start with the room that is causing the most friction right now. For the kitchen, start with the Pantry & Freezer Reset Kit or the Everyday Home System ($39). For whole-home organization, begin with the Zone-by-Zone System ($47) or jump straight to the Full Home System ($129) if you want every printable plus future releases included.
File formats & printing
What file format are the printables in?
Every product is delivered as a high-resolution PDF. PDFs preserve the design exactly across any printer or print shop and open in any PDF reader — no proprietary software required.
What paper weight should I use?
Standard 20–24 lb copy paper works for inserts you will reuse in a binder. For covers, dividers, and labels, step up to 32–80 lb (roughly 90–216 gsm) cardstock. Heavier paper holds up to daily handling and does not curl.
What print settings should I use?
In your print dialog, set Actual Size / 100% — never choose fit to page or auto-scale — turn on high quality or best print mode, and verify the page size is US Letter (8.5 × 11"). For two-sided inserts, flip on the long edge so the back lines up with the front.
Re-downloading your files
Is my download link permanent?
Yes. The link in your purchase confirmation email stays active indefinitely. Re-download as many times as you like, on any device, years from now — the file does not expire.
I lost the confirmation email — how do I get my files back?
Email us at hello@sillos.co with the address you used at checkout and we will re-send the download link, usually within one business day.
Refunds & replacements
What is your refund policy before I download?
If you have not opened the download link, contact us within 7 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. For full details see our Refund Policy.
What if my file is corrupted or will not open?
Email us at hello@sillos.co with your order email and we will replace the file or refund you — whichever you prefer. We cover any technical issue on our end. For the full terms see our Refund Policy.
